I grew up in Iowa and there were mostly white people around but still some blacks, and in some neighborhoods there were many blacks
a fair number of Asians too and Mexicans and whatnot
but still mostly whites, nothing like that picture
now I live in a much more racially diverse city in California and there are less black people but lots more Hispanics and Asians... still mostly white people though, and again I'm sure there are neighborhoods where various other races concentrate but whites are the norm
