I'm in school now while transitioning. I'm working to be a successful engineer/physicist or whatever I decide to pursue after undergrad with fulfilling hobbies and healthy relationships.
I don't want to use being trans as an excuse not to have as good of a life as I could if I was cis.
Hopefully with a job, a steady income, a nice group of friends, some vidya. and a transplanted uterus.

It certainly stagnates and I could imagine a point where one is satisfied enough to cease consciously making alterations to one's body.
Sure some things like HRT will be lifelong routines for people medically transitioning, but those are routines. After somebody has been on HRT for a few years, their body will no long experience feminizing or masculinizing effects. There isn't a "next step" or goal of which to look forward.
