What I remember most about the E Club was Bowie. I met him when he was doing the Spiders from Mars tour. I had not yet turned 15 and he wanted to take me to his hotel room. TBHonfam, this is probably the celeb death that's hit me the hardest so far in my lifetime. I saw him in concert like 10 years ago and it was amazing. I really can't believe he's actually dead. I can't pick just one song or album or movie, but I grew up with his music and films, and he was definitely a big influence on me. Along with Tilda Swinton, he was my idol, aesthetically speaking, in terms of androgyny. Goddamnit, you beautiful fucking man, I'll miss you, and I'll keep your music playing until the day I die.
