fuck, i need to get serious about voice training.
>>5493924
mtf? the pitch seems like its there but it sounds like you're resonating too much from the chest.

>>5494907
mtf yeah. I'm having a really hard time getting a clearer tone, even if it feels like I'm not using my chest at all it still comes out sounding gravelly :/
...
I tried to be like voice actor-san but I realised I might be better off in a death metal band

I have the same thing, whenever I listen to my voice it always seems to not pass, but yours does for sure imo.
>>5494907
I have the same fears about sounding too young. I'm the rapper and I want to sound like a grown woman, but I'm stuck with what I feel is this 12 year old voice. I don't think your voice necessarily has to sound like a young voice, but if I could give any advice it would be to increase your pitch variation so that you can be more comfortable experimenting with different types of voices.
I don't mean this as an insult, because your voice sounds very passable, but it sounds somewhat monotone in my opinion like you're struggling to maintain a singular pitch. Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but this is what I gathered from your sample. Work on the fundamentals of a healthy and strong voice first and then you can worry about developing your ideal voice next.
>>5494949
LMAO, maybe you can be stand-up comedian-san
>>5495034
Oh, that might be kind of fitting :3!
I do kind of dislike that people tend to be so serious on 4chan when it comes to stuff like 'passing' and basically anything trans, so I tend to try to blow a bit of humour into it.
>>5495052
If I had any complaint about the voice threads is that they're usually a bit dull.
Serious or not though, people should be able to do what they want because for many people this will affect their life in an important way.
However, putting some life into the submissions is always fun, and your post made me laugh, so thank you. [:

For what it's worth that's a pretty not terrible but not great death growl.
VaS approves.

Any advice on how to get started on training my voice. MTF BTW.
http://vocaroo.com/i/s03uqsA3ePEk
I'm not really sure where to go from here. I can do pitch, I think, I can do head resonance, I also think, but I still feel like something's off. It's really difficult to get feedback about my voice IRL.
>>5497757
Do slides. Try go up two notes, smoothly changing the pitch from high to low and low to high. As long as you aren't in your 30s, you can still hit the high notes, nothing changed when your balls dropped in that regard; it's just that you haven't had occasion to use them for a very long time. Chanting sound works very well at first too. AAAA, EEEE, OOOO, VVVV, etc. Take it slow. Don't try to run before you can walk, or you'll get frustrated.
>>5493924
Try and imagine your voice coming out of your eyes. Try and keep it forward. You're closer than you might think. Watch the end of sentences too, dropped your pitch there a few times.
Drink plenty of water and relax. It sounds a little strained.
Damn, I feel like your normal voices are quite feminine. I personally sound like the narrator above the clouds lel.
