I'm 24 years old and I've only ever slept with men. Lots of men. I was never repulsed by women, I've always been able to get off to straight porn, but I was much more attracted to men. Like 80-20 men to women. At various times in my life I've told people I was bi and gay - bi when I wanted to leave open the possibility of sleeping with a woman, though that has never happened.
Now here's the part where things get weird. My whole childhood I was artsy and introverted and hated sports. Never did anything athletic. Lately I've gotten into running and weightlifting and playing some sports casually. Call me crazy but I think when I do those activities, there's a slight hormonal change in me, and the idea of fucking a woman becomes more appealing. Also in the past I always socialized with fag hags. These days I find myself around straight men more, and I feel like that also influences me to think about women more.
Do you think hormonal and social factors can affect your sexual orientation?
I hate that I'm still confused about my sexuality at 24 years old and I need to understand it. I need to know if women are going to be an option for me. Can anybody relate to my experience or recommend an article that will help me understand it?

Thanks for the reply but my attraction isn't as random as you make it out to be. There is such a thing as orientation and I'm curious if that thing can be affected, deliberately, whether permanently or temporarily, in adulthood.

Yes. What your mom eats when you're pregnant affects your sexual orientation, so in that sense, hormonal factors or course change it.

Ok that's closer to the right track but I'm wondering if it's possible that there are specific things that I can choose to do in adulthood to affect my orientation. I realize this is high treason since we all agreed a long time ago that homosexuality wasn't a choice and couldn't be changed, but my recent experiences have led me to wonder if that isn't 100% true.

I wish I could help you but I would imagine it's different for each person. When you spend time with a group of people you tend to think like them. So maybe you were more into guys because you were around (presumably) straight girls and now that you have more guy friends, they're affecting who you find attractive. I'm 100% gay tho so I don't really have any experience in this, sorry :(
Environmental factors can influence things, but you've always known you like women. It's just now may be a time in your life where you would like to explore that area more.
