How many of you feel like you can't untie yourself from your religion just because it makes so much sense to you, and you feel like you'd be nowhere without it?

I do believe, but I also like believing because the alternatives are worse. So I don't try too hard to be skeptical about it. Its not like Im a fanatic either way.

That's what cults do.
They steal your self-reliance till you feel too vulnerable without them. It's okay to have a community you feel comfortable with, and it's fine if you wanna believe whatever. But judge the whole thing, not just the parts you like.
