What kinda frames should I go for? Are there any that help a face appear more feminine?
Depends on your face, its all geometry, I would suggest that you look for people with a similar facial structure as you and see what they wear.

There is only one answer. Try on a shit ton of frames from the women's section. Flattering shapes are completely dependant on your face structure. WarbyParker glasses are good and cheap with a variety of non problem glasses styles and the ability to try at home.
