This art piece looked better when I couldn't tell what it was. It had a ripply, similar but more abstract than van gogh starry nights sort of feel.
I think it was because the hair and the fabric.
I'd really like to see that texture applied to the rest of the painting.

Eight strangers find out they each have the ability to sense what the seven others sense (i.e. can see, hear etc. what the rest see), can astral project to each others locations, and control each others bodies. As they have a martial arts expert, a hacker etc. among their ranks this comes in handy whenever shit hits the fan for one of them in way they alone couldn't get out of it. Some myth-arc stuff goes down, escalates towards the end, it's a slow burn but a good one. Sounds like a Heroes rip-off and the kind of Flashforward-esque show to get cancelled after one season but the Wachowskis manage to make the premise feel really fresh and it's probably the best and least stilted expression of their desire to celebrate all kinds of culture and counter-culture they've done yet. Some cringe in the first few episodes but once it gets going and Lana gets her filibustering out of the way it's genuinely a very interesting and engaging piece of entertainment. Also experiments with tone and genre in a way I suspect is lifted from the works of David Mitchell, who does the same thing and whose most famous book 'Cloud Atlas' they adapted.
