So I had a shitty 2015. White South African here.
January 24 - a friend comitted suicide by hanging himself in a park. He was gay and his alienation was the reason.
April 29 - My best friend and roommate died in a car accident along with another occupant.
May 11 - A friend overdosed on Khat and a mixture of other drugs.
September - My brother and his fiance separated, and he is heartbroken about being far away from his son.
October - My philosophy professor and personal mentor has become a paranoid schizophrenic after years of prescription drug abuse and alcoholism. He is clinically insane.
12 Dec - Another gay friend comitted suicide this past weekend. Also hanging. (Pic related)
I always thought that I was weak emotionally. However I have learned through this year that I am much stronger than I think I am.
