I played when it was just released, got to level 80, crafted full exotics (the best at the time then) and then just stopped because there was nothing to do but farm skins or pvp and pvp is for meanies.
But I started playing again recently and there seems like there's loads to do now, and the zones always seem really populated at least at high levels with people running in massive groups of 40+ going from event to event, doing world bosses, etc. And that doesn't even get to fractals and raids that I haven't done yet since I need to get myself some ascended gear.
