How do I know if I'm actually trans and not just a not terribly masculine cis dude desperate to find a reason for my depression and anxiety?
Who else /denial/ here?
longevity and persistence of trans feelings
working through gender identity issues with a therapist
trying other means to cure your depression that do nothing
Can I ask a question?
If you feel like a woman, how is being a woman supposed to feel like?
>>5303893
how could persistence be determined when the legitimacy of the feelings themselves is in question?

Put a different way, how long have you (possibly incorrectly) been using "maybe being trans" as a reason for your depression and anxiety?

Do you wanna be a girl? if so, you're trans
>>5303820
I was really depressed and listening to Porcelain by The Red Hot Chili Peppers once and was convinced as fuck that I was meant to be a girl. That lasted about 15 minutes and I haven't had the thought before then or since.
This doesn't help you at all, OP, but good luck with your shit.

Now I'm more curious. Has it been years? Decades?

This squirrel looks like my dog

Who wouldn't want to be a grill? Being male sucks.

/denial/ reporting
Keep thinking I'm OCD or something only because I haven't started questioning until 21
Even though I've always known I would rather have been born a girl and my intimate life is stillborn because I'm not a girl
I keep thinking "It would be selfish to make my life harder for others because I'm not desperate enough to justify transitioning" (I am though, but I have no self-esteem so I just hate myself instead of doing something, even too afraid of the possibility of admitting to a therapist I was wrong)

>Less standard for grooming/simple, cheap to get haircuts and the like

wow FUCK ME same
i just turned 21, I've been "questioning" myself for years
>>5309366
I was the same as you.
Don't wait until you're 30, DO IT ANON.
I wish I'd started at 21 like I nearly did. I might have actually enjoyed my 20s then instead of being a depressed, repressed fuck.

>waited until I was 28 to seek any help with trans stuff

Please see a professional about this while you are still young and T hasn't completely poisoned your body.
