Re him being trans, I think that's a pretty misguided opinion. Personally I don't factor in the "gender roles" thing for him/her. I know for me, a girl, I like a lot of guy things, but I don't think that makes me trans, it doesn't mean I want to be a guy. So I don't usually look at that kind of thing as an indicator. It doesn't somehow make it unlikely, though (I don't buy the "he's so honest, if he was trans he'd be honest about that too" either)
