Not anywhere near as reduced, though. Gay people have each other, which means that it's not like they're going to run into a case where there's more seekers than interested parties. Transsexuals have a small handful of fetishists who are legitimately interested. Most have to resort to deceit in order to get fleeting romance. This problem won't be fixed by bringing more transgenders out of the closet, either, because transsexuals generally don't want other transsexuals. Making it more acceptable will just make the problems that transsexuals face worse.
