What's /lgbt/ opinion on semi-permanent makeup?
I'm an mtf, been on hrt for about a month now, not planning on getting it right now but considering it in the future, makeup seems kinda confusing and intimidating to me.
Literally just git gud. Cis girls need a lot of practice with make-up too. There's hundreds of internet tutorials out there nowadays.
And there's tons of other bullshit to spend your money on first. Transitioning is expensive

It's kind of like a tattoo in a way, instead of putting the makeup on your skin its like in your skin or something, i believe.

I have some to hide scars. Works well so long as you don't change your tan amount.
I wouldn't do it for general makeup unless you want to hide a blemish.

Scars from being beat up, and the resulting surgeries to put me back together. My forehead, an eye socket, both cheek bones, nose, and jaw were pieced back together. I also had both ankles reconstructed, and some of the long bones needed surgery to align the fragments.
Oddly enough I never had acne problems. On the other hand I'm self destructive and have a number of additional scars from that.

I used to play around with makeup in my bathroom after everyone else had gone to bed. I would try a few things take it all off and try something some different things. You'll learn through trial and error, just like every other girl in the world. There are also plenty of makeup tutorials on youtube to observe as well.
Drugstore makeup works well for practice, mostly coz its cheap.

All tattoos become less sharp edged over time. I only recommend it for making scars and blemishes less noticeable. Even then it doesn't adjust for tanning so it isn't perfect.
