I've never understood why my lesbian friend who used to be straight likes girls like pic related
Is there such thing as a closet straight person? I don't understand at all.
She sometimes looks at incredibly hot babes and either says they're ugly or that she wants to look like them but not fug em.

What you think it attractive is actually just what you're told to think as attractive. Those women who you think are "super hot" know what you as straight male like so they're making themselves look appealing to you that way to get what they want from you. It's not so effective towards other women.

God this is such bullshit. I don't just like "what I'm told" is attractive. Supermodel/celebrity/pornstar type women often do nothing for me sexually. I like rather plain, girl next door types, and most of my male friends think I have a weird taste. But at least I still like women who look like women. I'm not attracted to women like in the OP pic because they look like men.

Help me understand the post I replied to then. The "you're attracted to what your told" theory is, at best, woefully incomplete, because I'm attracted to shit that was definitely never pointed out to me or encouraged.
The implication I got from the post was that it was somehow more "natural" for lesbians to be attracted to OP pic because they are not the targets of conditioning aimed at straight males, which is the part I took the strongest objection to. I don't know why it would be natural to like women who look more like men than women who look more like women (assuming you like women).

Somewhat, but the truth is the basic truths behind biological attraction are something that are 100% immutable. You can confuse people with societal conditioning and sort of push them towards something that is kind of like their innate nature or some physical or emotional trauma can affect this.
But at the base, if you strip out all of the bullshit and slight societal programming that wants to focus our very human biological needs through a handful of filters for whatever reason that has to be enforced 24/7...it's the same shit as it's always been.
