This guy from Mr Robot is gay. He is more than just a minor character, and has a loving, supportive male partner.
There is also a bisexual character in the show (Tyrell), but he is a psychopathic villain who just loves fucking. He loves BDSM and murder.
Honestly I think both are accurate portrayals.
I'd say Stephen Stills from Scott Pilgrim even if his being gay just came from out of nowhere. They leave hints in the 2nd last volume, but it honestly still feels like the author just made him gay for the hell of it. Wallace Wells would be runner up, of course.

Any gay character from the series Please Like Me. There's no gay agenda being forced down your throat, there's no super flamer degeneracy, the main character has a lisp though, the stories are almost too realistic, the characters are not one dimensional caricatures of gay men.
The series just hits too close to home since the main character is an insecure faggot who finally gets a shot at a 7-8/10 man just to blow it all away. He finds another qt lover though.
