Fetish isn't a disease, it's a sexual fixation. The root causes are usually holding masculinity in an extremely high esteem, being turned on by the idea of being so sexually potent that you can turn them away from being straight and "corrupt" them in a sense, shit like that. In your case I really don't think you have a fetish as much as you just hate gays and being gay.
You need to work on being happy with yourself and later with meeting more men. Some of them are going to be shit, most of them will be fine, but not to your tastes, but eventually you'll probably meet someone good enough. But as long as you consider yourself broken and fixate on the negative, that just isn't going to happen.

There isn't anything about straight men in particular except there are more of them and there is more variation in them. Not having a culture that defines your person so much through body type and appearance makes straight men freer in my not so humble opinion. They don't give a fuck if they're a bear or a twink or this or that and there's a freedom in that.
I live in a very small town so after trying different apps and sites you get to know the amount of gay people that are here, maybe not everyone of course but you do have the numbers quite pinned down.
There's also no gay bars here, or rather there's a LGBT bar because gay was not inclusive enough so there's no designated night or anything for just men.
All in all I'd say that men that are straight come off as more appealing than the gays I've encountered.
