if you want to up your chances of attracting any decent to good looking trans girl then you should follow these guidelines. These are the only kinda guys I'd ever respond to, another thing is to actually take action. I can't tell you the number of times I got a response to my ad from guys who type one line and think that's all they need to be chosen. Any responses that don't include effort and an image are ignored. If you're responding to an attractive girl's ad you're competing with at least 100 other guys so put in some effort and actually be forthright with making plans with them if you have mutual interest.
You can find a trans girl on craigslist, people may think it would be a bad place to find actual human beings but there are those of us who use it for a fwb or date as it's a good way to find someone without outing ourselves, look for those that don't include their face in pictures cuz we are usually stealth.
