I'm a bi girl and I would say yes. It's more accepted by society to be straight. You don't have to dissapoint your family etc. It's also easier to have a kid, something that is super important to me. I slept around as a closet lesbian in my wild young years, then settled down and got married to the world's straightest man. He thinks my bisexuality is cute and doesn't intimidate him at all. Not that gay relationships can't be wonderful and fulfilling in their own way. But they're simpler in a way. You're both the same gender and you share a common understanding of the world.
One of the great hurdles but ultimately the great rewards of hetero relationships is learning to deal with and understand the opposite sex. Because men and women both drive each other nuts but in different ways.
As a guy, it's wonderful to really connect with another guy and feel that deep connection. But when I connect with a woman it's different, there's more of a gap. So when that gap is eventually bridged it's even more amazing.

In my experience all straight relationships have been extremely unfulfilling, as the guys were mostly just interested in sex and it was always difficult to exchange feelings. Whereas the relationships I've had with girls were mostly longterm (4 years) and emotionally and sexually satisfying.
