The roller-locked mechanism is really fucking picky when it comes to brass, and the rifling twist is shit for their current ammo stockpile. I keep hearing 100 meters effective range for most of the F1s because the only ammo that doesn't shed rims or rupture cases in them is loaded for a different twist, mainly thanks to the politicians shutting down the only ammo plant that made ammo it liked, and their new foreign contractor ammo giving them severe case ruptures.

No, there isn't any problem with any NATO ammo anymore. But it doesn't change the fact that the gun is almost 40yo and needs a replacement asap.
