Plenty of war stories threads going around, let's hear from Law Enforcement and Corrections Officers.
Note that I was looking for Use of Force stories but if you would like to share a funny/odd call be my guest.
>>
Fuck it, thread is going nowhere so I'll start off with a ride-along story.

>Be me
>Ride-Along with Local Police because looking into a Law Enforcement career
>Officer I'm riding with is bro-tier nice guy
>Doesn't like cutting tickets, lets several people off easy throughout the night (People I would've cited without hesitation)
>Doesn't seem like he would hurt a fly
>Our numbers come across comms for a code one dispute. (Not a huge emergency)
>Apparently a couple of neighbors were arguing because Neighbor #1's dog was barking and Neighbor #2 was trying to sleep (It was about midnight)
>Neighbor #2 goes over to confront Neighbor #1 and tell him to shut his dog up.
>Neighbor #1 answers the door with a handgun
>"Get the fuck off my property."
>Neighbor #2 goes back home, calls police, here's where we come in
>Stop about a block away from address, just down the street to wait for second car
>All domestics are a mandatory 2 car, and we're already on edge because a gun was involved
>We approach the house, figuring everything had cooled down at his point
>Apparently not
>Neighbor #1 is still angry, basically tells us to fuck off because the dog isn't barking anymore, and he didn't threaten neighbor #2 so technically he hasn't broken any law
>Bro-Cop shrugs, "okay have a nice night" and we start to leave
>Walking down the front pathway when suddenly
>BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, POP, POP
>Everyone hitting the fucking dirt
>Bro-Cop is yanking his gun and simultaniously going for his radio
>"228! SHOTS FIRED, SHOTS FIRED"
>Bright lights in the sky
>Look up
>Fucking fireworks
>Came from a block away, completely unrelated to this call, just bad timing I guess
>"Uhhh...Disregard..."
>We patrolled that neighborhood for 45 minutes looking for that dickhead that made us run like chickens
>Never found him
>>
Remember that scene from super bad where the cops arrest McLovin so he can look cool? I did that to some nerdy black kid at a house party a few weeks ago. I don't even know why this kid was there, he said something about how he was only invited because he could get alcohol. Anyway, after explaining and showing us that he wasn't fucked up like so many other guest and he was just going to go home, we offered to "escort" him out so it looked like he tried to fight two cops, then dropped him off a few blocks away. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy to see him get cheered by about 25 other people

anon's response

I'd like to accuse you of samefagging but that story seems plausible. One of my parents' small ranches was outside of a correctional facility and weird shit was always going on there, we always suspected escaped inmates but there were never official reports of escaped inmates. Also found tons of arrowheads and rock formations there and it's in an area that was Apache territory at one point so who knows.

Weird as in...?

Anon's response was supposed to be funny/introspective.

He wasn't actually saying he was the inmate.

Not an LE or CO story but I'm working hospital security with hopes of reaching LE. Here's a story.
> Patrolling around the hospital, on the 1st Floor, pass through the Emergency Department to check in
> Male Nurse (total bro) approaches me ‘Anon, some patient is out back eating our lunch’
> Patient is out back eating their fucking dinner, he’d been passed out drunk all day prior to this
> Run to back room, small area with a fridge and table for nursing staff to have meals
> Patient nowhere to be seen, radio all Security Officers to find him immediately
> Patient is drunk, the hospital is responsible for his well being
> Myself and two other Security Officers disperse, searching external grounds and 1st Floor
> Patient (let’s call him Pat) is found hiding behind a doorway in Radiology
> Convince him that he can’t run away and we can take him by force, he agrees to return to the ED
> Pat smells terrible. A mix of BO and piss. Stumbles into the ED with Security
> Doctor notices he’s walking fine, decides to discharge him then
> Pat walks over to what was his bed and grabs a rolled up paper bag, it’s soaking wet
> He opens the bag and takes out a chicken tender and starts eating it
> I stand there and keep an eye on him until his discharge is complete
> He constantly challenges me and other Security Officers to fight him
> “Aye, you want some Rocky Balboa, aaaaahhh?”
> I realize then that he peed in his bed. I notice that the bag is soaked in his pee.
> He’s eating a chicken tender soaked in his piss
> Stand by until he signs his papers, finally escort him off property
> He’s back regularly

I don't want to hijack the thread. But log piles for firewood pushed over, we had a double wide on the property and sometimes we'd find stuff knocked down in the cabin but there were no signs of forced entry, feeders knocked over or dumped with no evidence of animals doing it on trailcams, trailcams taking strange pictures (but that's expected, trailcam gonna trailcam)
I met a guard from the facility once and he said the guard posts would occasionally see people walking around and when they went to check found nothing.

That's obvious, but people here often reply to their own post then cap and post on boards without ID's. Are you new?
