I have absolutely no idea. I stopped counting about 20 years ago.

For years I enjoyed trying out as many different weapons and calibers as I could. Had sort of a mental scorecard and I wanted to shoot absolutely everything possible. After a while though it just lost it's thrill.

If, for example, I was working on the development of a new caliber or weapon platform, the minutiae of that specific project were foremost in my mind and other lists of guns and calibers became irrelevant, except as needed for certain comparisons.

I guess at a certain point it all starts to become routine. Guns became tools instead of a hobby.

Same goes for the weapons I own. At one point I had the goal of owning at least one of every version of every infantry rifle used by any major military in the 20th century. With enough ammo to practice with any of them whenever I felt like it. I was well on my way to achieving the goal when it all just lost that thrill for me. I eventually sold just about all of it to pay off my debts. All I kept were a handful of weapons I actually use, and only in military or police calibers so it's easy to resupply.
