Make a pistol into a rifle.
So I've decided I want a "Krinkov" style AK. I don't want to jump through the ATFs hoops to make a SBR.
My plan is to buy a Zastava M92 pistol, pin on a 6" barrel extension, then put a stock on. This would bring the gun to rifle length and since I'm manufacturing a rifle and not a NFA item I'm in the clear right?

Under ATF law, you are doing that to a pistol, it's still a pistol but you are adding a stock which is illegal.

you are thinking the other way around, you can go pistol to rifle as long as it meets 16" barrel and 26" OAL but once its a rifle, it cannot be a pistol again.
How about the handguard, find a fucking handgard for that pistol that looks like a krink then get back with me senpai.

IIRC Arsenal makes AKS-74U-style AKs with barrel extensions, why not just buy one of those and save yourself the trouble?
>inb4 hurr durr Arsenal a shit
it doesn't have to be an Arsenal, it's just the first example that comes to mind.
also:
>Krinkov
please don't call it that.

Already debunked in another thread today.
Pistols can go back and forth.

Long as your barrel is over the 16" it's fine.

I like Arsenals, own a SLR-95, but the AKS style rifles seem a bit pricey.
Also I know Krinkov isn't the right term but most non-AK people are more familiar with it.

Couldn't get K-Var to load but rifles like the SLR-104ur seem to be like $1300+
CNC warrior sells M92s in a rifle configiration. Granted it doesn't have the classic UF or the triangle side folder, but I've been Happy with mine. Krink sights aren't great, and its loud as fuck, but it's cool
