They're incredibly fine shooters, believe me. However, the dissassembly process of them is a huge pain in the ass. I can tear one down in 2 minutes tops but putting them back is downright fucking ridiculous.
If there's one thing that buying a Sig has taught me, was that I should NOT be an armorer in the Coast Guard so I'm somewhat glad this happened. I don't ever want to take apart my gun let alone get paid to do it. I understand the Sig rust meme is 90% bullshit when used but the idea that you have to dissassemble it to dry it makes me hesitant to ever get it dunked.

Not even, the .40S&W Glocks initially had only minimal chamber support, which was fine for factory ammo, but wouldn't stand up so well to particularly hot handloads (and this isn't a characteristic which is unique to the Glock, many guns have less chamber support leaving you with less room for handloading, like the Colt Delta Elite).
Basically these tards didn't have the sense to move up to an actual 10mm gun because that's the power they were looking for, and early gen .40S&W Glocks paid the price.

Sigs, by far and away, do not suffer from a lack of QC. Lemons happen with ANY brand as prevalent as Sig--this includes glock, HK, you name it. It's just the /k/ brand of memery that tends to make these occasional issues as overblown as they are.
