What does /k/ think of him? I enjoy his videos and I trust his word on equipment reviews.
IMO he is really never wrong as autistic as he is.
There's a ton of shit any him that has been said a million times, but his videos are overall decent.
His channel really shines when he sticks to camping and outdoor adventure, prepping, and camping/edc gear reviews, instead of 1 hour knife reviews and fudd gun reviews

Nutnfancy is easily the best gun related channel on YT - honest reviews based on actual usage. You might think he's long winded, or you might not agree with what he thinks makes a gun good, but no one does in depth reviews like him. Guys like Smootch run 100 rounds through a gun and call that a review.

His content is good. Small quirks here and there do bother me. And no, I'm not referring to his autistic ticks, rather I don't like the fact that he sees his experience as a pilot to be applicable in a general sense as "military" experience, which he in turn thinks is valid for topics like infantry combat. He also has a strange habit of going too far into the "philosophy" of gear and firearms use. "Pirate gun" is not a valid category to put a rifle into unless someone has specific designs to field it on a boat in an ocean. Though he lacks social intelligence or a filter, he is smart. He has kind of been a force in the firearms industry by way of critique. His ability to see flaws in weapons and gear is still kind of impressive to me. His channel is one of the first ones where I saw things like advocacy for DI when all that piston stuff was coming out, criticism of quad rails in favor of lightweight modular ones, efforts to reduce unnecessary weight in other practical areas, praise of brands that keep their cost low and still sell good products, tons of actual range footage, a complete lack of band loyalty, and thorough reviews. He isn't an elitist and that alone makes his channel better than a slew of others. I've got some hang-ups, but in a general way he has one of the best review channels out there.

LaRue literally failed to fix the gun after it was sent in twice, but claimed it was fine. That right there should be enough to take serious issue with. After autnfancy released his video (oh noes, someone on the internet doesn't like our company), Mark LaRue went onto arfcom and delivered a 7th grade style shitposting session. Instead of just saying nothing or offering to personally address the issue, i.e. being professional, LaRue felt it necessary to talk some shit. This isn't the first or even tenth time either. LaRue is known for slander. He spends much of his time fencing criticism against his company's high prices, outrageous turn around times, and QC issues. Regardless of what you think about end user error and retardation from clients, there is no way in hell that you should be able to send in a rifle, have it sent back with the company saying issues were fixed, then take it out of the box and have it fail. Twice. It seriously would have been better to just say "fuck you, we aren't fixing it" rather than claim you did.

I like his videos, first time I saw one I was thinking he might have a screw lose because he was talking about being a sheep dog and stuff on a gun review. Once I saw a few more videos I actually kind of enjoyed that he'll sit down and just kind of go into it and talk about shit from a few different angles and experiments with stuff.
