Waiting on a Esstac IFAK and one more mag pouch. Gonna do a little rearranging.

Maybe a good admin pouch, radio pouch when I get one, and a hydration pack in the future?

Also, a belt that all of you usually show is worn ALONG normal pants belt, right?
Is it doable to just get a gun belt that keeps your pants on and maybe hold 2-3 pouches? Nothing insane?

Yes battle belt is usually worn over an underbelt, but a regular underbelt should do fine with a very light load.

Any heavier, and it may sag or bend so make sure you get a rigid one

Because they are made like hightop basketball shoes out of materials that never break in. They are designed to be extra comfortable when you put them on standing in Dicks or Gander Mountain.

They are not made to support your feet when your wearing a pack, or wearing them for long periods of time, or running much in them.

Depends on which parts we're talking about.

I order spare trigger parts and recoil springs from the DSA site because most LGS's don't really keep FAL parts on hand.

The more gucci shit like stocks and handguards comes from the companies that make them.

I try to keep running spares of all the parts in my rifle after I fucked up a landing one time and bent my barrel.

>bulletproofme.com

Site looks like it's from the early 2000's

HighCom's Guardian 4SAS7 and AT Armor's FFS4 are good low cost choices. AT Armor has a big advantage over HighCom because the FFS4 follows the NIJ .06 standard which means it's passed plate drop and environmental tests (plates that pass this standard usually cost upwards of 400 dollars per plate).

Tape the rubber bits. If you don't, it will have a tacky, sticky feel to it for like ever. remove the bolt and charging handle and tape the action from the inside and out. You can paint the pistol grip, but it will wear quickly and come off in your hand. I would recommend just not painting it. To be extra safe with optics I always put toilet paper inside scope cap and tape the caps down. Can't be too cautious in my opinion. Tape off important markings like numbers on scope turrets. Plug the barrel with a soft earplug. Pic related is my rifle. No clearcoat or anything, just straight up Krylon.
>>
>>30658175

I would just tape off anything that moves or has openings or narrow cracks that lead deeper than the actual surface. Adjustment knobs, mag release, magwell, trigger slot, anything leading to the action or bore.

As for the rubber you can paint right over it and it will probably ruin the feel until the paint cracks and falls off.

I have literally done trail running with my pair, on top of being my daily shoe. They're about a year old and still holding up. Just because you can't break in your boots doesn't mean the manufacturer did anything wrong, besides not putting a retard wrangler in the store to direct you somewhere else.

Standalone plates include a Dyneema backer behind the ceramic strike face to deal with the distribution of force and such. In the end, it's still most likely going to hurt quite a bit, but you'll still be in action.

In the KDH, yes. My XS plates are too small to use in a regular flap-type PC and the AR500 plates I have aren't a perfect fit for the Condor PC. They're about 3/4 to a full inch too short and maybe 1 1/2 inches too narrow.

That's because that page is for 0101.06 compliant armor. I think NIJ certification is important especially on the departmental level and I think that companies that pretend they are certified using weasel-words are borderline unethical, but NIJ certifications are not the sole barometer of armor quality. Some of the really nice plates never got NIJ certified since they were intended for the military and there was no point in paying extra to do tests to 2 different specs.
