Never shot a DP51 but the trigger is very, very damn smooth and it probably has stayed true. Still uses the same action, just called something different now. I see the safety isn't moved from it. I honestly don't like the placement at all and it digs into the knuckle of my thumb if it's on fire.
That's my only real complaint. The thing is very damn light for what it is. If you plan to get one just go to their website and wait for the black friday sale they do every year. They have said every time that it's been very successful so they'll do it again, but the smarter thing would have been to simply lower the overall price. I don't feel it's worth everything they're asking, but for how great it shoots and how absolutely fantastic the cerakoting looks, there is no beating 400$ for image related (sans the Inforce II which has since broken)

I haven't shot the compact but even the standard is incredibly light. I can only imagine how much lighter the compact is for being steel/aluminum.

Is this the triple action gun? My LGS had one of those that I fiddled with. It didn't do anything for me, and I wasn't a fan of the trigger. Neat concept, though and I'd love to see if they will refine the design.

The dubbul acshun plus is interesting, it's a mushy take up because the hammer is under tension while it's forward, but the break to pull it back is clean, and there's a decent bit of space between that and where the SA breaks. The SA is HNNNNNNNNGH.
