Hey /k/
I don't really know where else to go for this, but I need help identifying a gun
My grandfather passed away relatively recently, and one of the things he left me was this gun. I don't know any information about it other than the fact that It was owned by his dad before him.
I don't have too much info about my family history, but I do know that my great grandfather emigrated form Russia to the United States.
I'm not really into firearms, and was considering selling it, but I wanted to check with you all to see whether you knew what exactly it was.
Any ideas what it could be?
Looks like some kind of SKS
That's a Fedorov Automatic Rifle. A very rare rifle.

When posting pics you found online it helps to do more than just flip it.

>The Fedorov Avtomat (also anglicized as Federov,[2][3] Russian: Aвтoмaт Фёдopoвa) was an automatic rifle, designed by Vladimir Grigoryevich Fyodorov in 1915 and produced in the Russian Empire and later in the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic
