Its most prominent features don't have anything to do with the function of the gun and are meant to draw in newfags.

I like the idea of a gun made for comfortable nonprinting pocket carry but a CC needs to be a quality pistol first and everything else second

Look at a view from the back side by side with a basic handgun shape. You can kind of see it in OP pic too. The gun isn't actually curved, they just added more plastic so they could indent it and make it look like that. Worn incorrectly, the butt of the pistol will still print exactly like any similar sized handgun. A few mm of indentation is not going to make a noticeable difference in comfort either.
The selling point of the curve, it's curvature, has no real effect of any kind on carry. This is a gun for people who compare minute differences in dimensions on the internet when shopping for a carry piece. I've been there. It's a noob mistake.
Coupled with the fact that holster is not an option for this gun, I would never ever choose it.

Yes, please buy something else. Taurus with it's lobby is fu***** over Brazilians, militar, cops and civilians alike, we can rither wait 3 montha and get an imbel 1911 (civilians in .380 or .40) or buy Taurus Guns and die whenever we actually need them.

If you're going to bet your life on a gun I'd go with a more proven design, there's a reason why during rigorous pistol classes people lean towards M&P or Glock. This isn't recreational shooting, this is life or death, so a failure rate of 3-5% is bad, really really bad.

And you're right, I will not buy a taurus gun, would rather buy a 1911 in .380 (I don't really like single action pistol) than buy something cheap and unreliable.
They packed it with half-assed features like the light/laser combo and claimed that making it crooked improved concealment. Taurus could take all the effort they put into these new pistols and just make one reliable model.

This one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzL5tjYVf-c) basically alerts that the weapons of all cops have problems and puts the security of you, (the spectator), she (the reporter), of all Brazilian society in risk.
It begins with a cop that bought the pistol saying that the pistol has gross defects in the making (the main one is that the barrle isn't lined up so the bullet doesn't feeds and does't extract), and is suing Taurus because of the risk he had with this weapon.
At the end is shows the the police tried to get Glocks, but because it has a "similar" on the country (taurus) they couldn't bought the glocks, even though Taurus are more or less 400 dolars more expensive each gun.
Particulary this one has the translation on the subtitles quite right.
This other (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLBbdCbdLFg) begins saying that 98 thousand guns of Taurus are to be collected because of the high risk of malfunction (pt 24/7..) and end up basing this with several videos, caes and studies that show how bad these weapons are (shot by themselves, fire with any impact, other times simply won't fire, etc etc)

The flashlight is closer to the top, but the laser pointer is towards the bottom.
Maybe it would make more sense if there was a version chambered in .32 ACP, .25 NAA, or 5.7FN.
