How many mags do you carry in your battle-ready loadout?
I got 6 on my plate carrier and 1 in mag, so im carrying 7x30rd mags
how many would you need in total SHTF?

I do the same if I use my battle jacket, or 8 with a chest rig.
1 in the gun, 2 on the belt. If I bring my messenger bag, that adds 8+ easily.

6 30 rounders and one pistol mag on the FLC, 1 Mag in the rifle, and one mag in the handgun. My pack has 60 rounds of 5.56 in boxes, and 2 more loaded pistol mags. Might toss in a box of 9mm soon.

If you guys honestly think you EVER need more than 6 mags at one time, you've clearly never been in the military, and if you have, you're a pog bitch.
Especially in a SHTF situation, where you'd likely be by yourself. In which case, you should NEVER be getting in a giant firefight where you would need to dump 6 mags. Realistically, if you ever ACTUALLY needed to use your rifle, you'd fire 3-5 shots to make them put their heads down or take cover then you'd get the fuck outta there. It isn't war, there is absolutely no reason for you to stick around and duke it out.

10x5 stripper clips in a 5 section pouch, 2 to a pouch for faster drawing. 5 loose rounds in each section as well makes for 75 in the leg bag.

... Mate in my military you are expected to have 9 at a minimum. Then again we are a military that does not usually have air support or other such things. Just affix bayonets and assault. Aswell as ontop of that we're mostly light infantry so not much resup probably.
