There's already a thread on this. And the answer is: no one actually knows. America has incomplete information on the capabilities of China's ASBMs, and China has incomplete information on America's anti-missile missiles.
They're worth consideration, but not by much, as the kill-chain that is needed to target them is lackluster.

If China actually does a mass ballistic missile launch, you can expect the US will do a minimum a nuclear retaliation against the chinese nuclear & air defense forces.

Seriously, do people understand that the USA tracts even small rocket launches, globally? A Carrier group would know of the launch and trajectory within a minute of the launch, giving them time to prepare and haul ass out of the area.
For China to sink a CBG, they would need to pop all our satellites, which would cause us to launch a nuclear strike.
