There are two mechanisms that will freeze your ass to hell, those being conduction (heat transfer from your warm tight butt cheeks into whatever frosty material you are sitting on) and perspiration (heat going through condensation of water into the air, basically your ass getting wet). As(s) for your butt, convection (heat loss through wind) is not that relevant.
