>inb4 meme round
Bought it so I have a pistol in all 3 of the most popular calibers.
>>
>>30613116
.40 is a safe bet if you don't stack ammo balls deep for a happening.
>>
>>30613129
Face it, the habbening is never going to happen. At least not in our life time.
>>
>>30613198
The /k/ happening can mean a bunch of shit. I used it as whenever people panic buy the fuck out of firearm shit because reasons. I.E. Sandy Hook
>>
>>30613116
During the Sandy crap .40 was the only ammo I could find on shelves. It's nice to diversify.
>>
Cant decide...

Finish 3 ar builds.... Or buy a cz805 or buy a glock 10mm & cz evo

It will be joining these three, but I will probably sell "le meme pistole" because there are too many things that I personally don't like about it. I am the minority that prefers a Glock grip to the VP9.
>>
>>30613530
Thats what mine is, brownell has a combo thing going.

http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/sights/sight-sets/night-sight-set-for-glock--sku100012444-60449-119994.aspx

Trijicon front, .140 u-notch 10-8 rear sight. Thats the one I got installed.

Now I just gotta get my KKM barrel and comp and my gun will be complete.

I just had to get rid of the U notch in the rear because it was covering the bottom 1/3 of the front dot. Doesn't effect shooting at all but the look got to me. I'm steadily looking for other upgrades for the gun also, so suggestions are appreciated.

No... Gen 4 feed ramps are cut differently than Gen 3 however.
>>
>>30614487
I had a Wilson Combat Vickers Tactical sight similar to that. Hated it. Mainly because of the blacked out rear I really should have spent the extra money and gotten one with a rear tritium dot. I have HSP thirteen sights now (what can I say I love meme instructor gear/accessories) and they're a million times better.
>>
>>30614692
AH, do I need to get a new barrel? or just used more rounded rounds?
>>
>>30614752
>HSP thirteen sights
I've seen these in person, in a normal room lighting it looks like pic related. In the sunlight good luck trying to hit something in a reasonable about of time. But again if you like it then that's great, for me a wide U-Notch and a thin front blade just works better.

personal foul: unnecessary roughness
>>
>>30614842
I think they may have changed then. My rear sight notch seems much wider. I have the tritium rears though so maybe that's why.

And yeah honestly so long as you're getting steel sights from a reputable place it really does come down to personal preference.
>>
>>30614339

I was thinking about getting one if these but I went with a CZ P-09 instead
what's your thoughts on it
>>
>>30618682
Love everything about it. The serrations on the slide are aggressive as fuck (with the slide being my biggest complaint about CZ pistols,) the sights are clean and raised so they're suppressor ready out of the box, the trigger is beautiful, I can hardly feel the reset and it's smooth as can be with a trigger safety.

10/10, Springfield, you knocked it out of the park.

Oh, and the 5 and a chunk of change inch sight radius means the gun is insanely accurate.

I don't understand why people think you need thousands of rounds unless you plan on supplying your own army. Your likelihood of emptying more than a standard loadout without being shot and killed yourself in a habbening is probably near zero.

>I have some Trijicon HDs on my 17 but they are shit.

OP here, to the Glock bro who bought the Brownells 10-8 sights with the Tritium front, can you possibly post the sight picture?

Thanks!

>I don't understand why people think you need thousands of rounds unless you plan on supplying your own army.
Because https://www.nraila.org/articles/20160701/california-governor-signs-draconian-gun-control-package-into-law
>SIGNED - Senate Bill 1235 would place unjustified and burdensome restrictions on the purchase of ammunition and would require the attorney general to keep records of purchases. This legislation would further require any online ammunition sales to be conducted through a licensed vendor. First and foremost, the reporting of ammunition sales has already been tried -- and failed -- at the federal level. Throughout the 1980s, Congress considered repeal of a federal ammunition regulation package that required, among other things, reporting of ammunition sales. In 1986, the director of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms supported eliminating the reporting requirement, stating: "The Bureau and the [Treasury] Department have recognized that current record keeping requirements for ammunition have no substantial law enforcement value." As a result, the Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986 repealed the ammunition restrictions, with little opposition to the removal of that requirement. SB 1235 will similarly fail to reduce violent crime, as a law requiring the registration of ammunition purchases by honest citizens will not deter criminals. Governor Brown has twice vetoed similar legislation.
