Is Israeli carry (aka condition 1, full mag no round in the chamber) for scrubs? I have never carried a gun and am a little bit weary about carrying condition 0.
Does everyone pretty much carry with a round chambered?

Everyone who is not a dumb mother fucker yeah. Some people will say "hurr you'll have time to pull the slide!" but think about this.
George Zimmerman didn't have time to pull the slide on his gun or the means. The only thing he had time to do was pull and draw.
If you wanna get your head caved in because you can't fire your gun that's your business.

>Is Israeli carry (aka condition 1, full mag no round in the chamber)
That's condition 3
>I have never carried a gun and am a little bit weary about carrying condition 0.
Then get a gun with a manual safety.
>>30613169
>Then get a gun with a manual safety.
And regularly practice your draw while disengaging that manual safety. You want the muscle memory to take over when you have to reach for your gun, because your brain won't remember shit.

Honestly how easy would it be to ND like a retard with a glock? I know it depends how retarded you are but how often does it happen assuming you have a proper holster and good trigger discipline
The only thing to watch with condition 0 is holstering. Don't use a leather holster since they can degrade and get floppy into the trigger guard. Watch your clothing as you holster it so nothing gets in the trigger guard
>>30613106
it is impossible for the gun to fire without pulling the trigger or perhaps if you are being burned alive
>>30613204
There's no formal statistics that have been collected on that.
It's obviously easier to ND with a gun with no safety.
But that's really hard to quantify.
If you're worried, get a gun with a good thumb safety.
Mine has a nice big shelf on it that I rest my right thumb on top of when holding it.
So disengaging it is a natural part of grabbing the gun.
>>30613223
>it is impossible for the gun to fire without pulling the trigger
Sure, but people have had NDs by something other than themselves pulling the trigger.
>>30613223
Pure falsity. And depends entirely on what kind of gun you're carrying.
Mexican carry is best carry
>>30613106
I carry a bodyguard condition 1
Loaded chamber, safety on
Just can't bring myself to carry condition zero on a semi-auto, maybe if I lived alone (no wife or kids) I would.
I have carried an lcr, but the trigger pull is crazy long...

The only good answer to your question is this:
Go get training. You need it.
>>30613328
>go pay hundreds of dollars to stroke the ego of some manchild who thinks he's hot shit
:^]
>>30613106
its safe to carry a round in the tube if you have
>have a double action handgun with the hammer down/decocked and safety off
>have a striker fired pistol in a good holster so you wont AD with a manual safety on if its not a safe action pistol
I was at the gun range when a guy walks over with about 4 boxes of pistol ammo. Then he sort of looks at everyone with a goofy grin and pulls a pistol out of a CC holster. He then pulls the slide back to chamber a round and starts shooting. Everyone was "Hahaha!!! You don't keep you carry gun with a round chambered??? Hahaha"
>>30613376
>going to the range with a loaded handgun
enjoy your shitty safety rules

Well I have a Glock so guess i'll have to learn how to git gud.
Any other tips besides no leather holster?
>>30613106
I always keeps one in the chamber, nigga.
I carry a loaded G20 pointing directly at my dick and femoral artery every day.
Git gud.
Carry Jew carry and see how many times the trigger is accidentally pulled. If more than 0, perhaps a safer hobby like knitting
>>30613408
what glock do you have?
>>30613358
I've been to training classes, had an awesome time, and feel like I really learned a lot.
I have been to a bunch, and regret nothing.
I'm better than some, worse than others, but that difference is one of practice and discipline.
>>30613428
Glock 19. Not really planning on carrying, especially everyday. Just curious and I want to train and practice good trigger discipline. I'm mostly having it for HD and I have it now in the case it came with, no round in the chamber tho just full mag.
>>30613453
if you have it for HD its safe to put a round in the pipe so then youll have 15+1, and you have every right to shoot a home invader 16 times. if you want to finger fuck it, just take the mag out and rack da slide ez ez.
if you cant trust yourself around a gun on a nightstand then you shouldn't own a gun
>>30613453
I don't have my CCW anyways and i'm in a cuck state currently but would like to be able to carry if I happen to go to a bad city or part of a neighborhood.
Like I said gues i'm tryin to practice and everything.
>>30613423
That's a good idea, should I keep the trigger cocked so they I can tell if I happen to fuck up like a moron? I could practice Jew carry until i'm confident enough to do big boi carry or something
>>30613403
It's an outdoor range and the only rule we have is don't shoot anyone... that doesn't deserve it.
>>30613453
>HD
>Locked up and not ready to fire
JUST
Seriously you just sound like you haven't handled it enough, finger fuck it in bed (unloaded), dry fire at TV when chillin, do hundreds of practice draws a week in exactly the same manner, carry it all the time, practice keeping trigger finger straight on draw and register (more NDs in reholster), youtube gub videos for hours, etc.
Git gud.
>>30613514
Yes. How else would you know?
>>30613538
Reholster not register
>>30613538
I just got it yesterday and it's my first gun so yeah I haven't handled it much.
Anyways is it safe to keep it in pic related with one in the pipe? Do most people keep it in their nightstand and not in a holster? I'm assuming yes because it's not hard to keep your finger out of the guard but just curious
>>30613571
pic related.
>>30613538
>Giving advice on how to carry

>I am a rube, and I have fun being scammed
That's nice.
>>30613106
Israeli Carry is a meme.
It only kinda works for soldiers in the IDF because if shit goes sideways, you'll always have a squad to back you up. In a DGU situation, you will not have that same luxury.
>>30613196
This tbhfam. It's what I did with my 4506 plus I taught myself to engage it when it gets reholstered
