i'd put your odds of blowing it up with a slug at 40%, with a light load of shot 10%
if you're intent on trying proof it with a string while you're behind some cover then inspect it carefully for damage. if you do try we'd certainly be interested in how it turns out. we'll take silence to mean to that you've died.
