Total side note, I got confused when I first saw this webm in another thread because I read something out of context and thought this was footage from the latest MGS game. When you convince yourself you're looking at a video game it actually looks really uncanny because of the video degradation.

Multicam is the best all round, but bear in mind that 'best all round' just means 'not particularly good at anything'.

MGSV was kind of a wakeup call to a thought I had a number of years ago about photorealism in video games in the future years.
Over the years graphics in video games has been a real frog in gradually boiling water situation for me. You know that technology is progressing but its so gradual that you almost forget to keep it in mind.
Shit is getting pretty crazy compared to what I was playing 7 years ago. 2020 is just around the corner, hell just imagine the games that will be available come 2030.

In all honest Multi-cam is Astetic as fuck. One of my favorite camouflage apart from Tiger Stripe, Rhodesian and Flecktarn.
What I hate is how everyone also likes it. Every Airsoft kiddie and their dog have multicam, it has become the operator fedora.
I think it is an effective camouflage when used were it should be.
