Leaf-faggot here. Could be worse in syrupland on a federal level. The last batch of Conservative gun law improvements (the only thing Harper was good for) seem to be sticking so far. Trudeau Jr. seems content to do jack shit which is fine by me. There is one scary bill that was introduced by a now retired senator but she's been trying to cram the same bill through since the mid-80's without any sucess. It's actually too extreme for most Liberals (take everyone's guns and put them in a central repository, call ahead 4 weeks to take your gun shooting at the range or hunting)
Provincially, Quebec and their registry 2.0 is still a travesty that might be impossible to stop in the courts due to the assinine way we have our constitution set up. It's sole purpose is to harass legal gun owners with fines until gun ownership is too burdensome for the average person.

MFW Missouri is about to get Constitutional Carry and lifetime CCW Permits for out of state travel.
Plus expanded Castle laws and Stand Your Ground.

Fellow Connecticuck here OP. The one non shit thing about CT is it's SHALL issue CCL.
Also, there's a very nice outdoor range in Danbury (Wooster Mountain).

New Haven county reporting. Ct Pepe made my night!
Also let's us not forget to say a prayer for the legal carry limit come October.
>RIP .1%
Connecticut is shit. I really dislike how our governor preaches how great our gun laws are when Bridgeport, New Haven, and Hartford are some of the most dangerous cities in the country.

My biggest concern is finding a job, since I am currently a Comp Eng student and Alaska is one of those states with very little job opportunities for my major. Maybe I could find a job in the military, who knows.

There are so many things fucked about our gun laws that are a drop in the bucket compared to the Mach 10 nosedive legislature is sending us over the cliff at.
>Not that I can stand the gun laws
Fun fact you can buy despp approved "firearm" in ct from the freedom shoppe. Any of you anons ever buy one? I'm prebanned already so yea.
Also I'm looking forward to the state collapsing and hopefully seeing a population of less than a million people.

Oh my god that pic is great
> AR before ban
>THE SIZE OF THAT .223 OH WOW
>AR after ban
>STILL DEADLY! HIDE YOUR CHILDREN!
I thought that's what bans were all about, removing the deadly part of a gun so that nobody can ever be hurt from it ever. Clearly we need more bans, it would make me feel a lot safer.
>>30603212
The legal limit for carrying a loaded gun was previously .1% in ct. it is dropping down to .08% for carrying a loaded gun and takes effect afaik in October. Of note I have never found an official definition of loaded in the general statutes but found a definition in the legislative intent of an old bill that was capable of being fired. Of course ianal so apply any of thid at your own risk especially considering the current administration and anti gun climate in CT. Basically I wouldn't want to be the test case.

NL county here. Once you get away from the big cities the towns get friendlier to guns. A local police chief personally told me they weren't going to follow the new AW laws and would just look at magazine caps. AFAIK the only people charged were drug dealers and the like.
>mfw the new laws got me a Saiga 7.62 and a 9mm carbine

>>30603981
Yes and air rifles. Every firearm WITHOUT exception has to be registered and the police have the right to do on the spot random inspections of you safe to see if you still have your weapons/they are stored correctly(bolts removed and in a separate compartment of the safe, all ammo in it's original packaging in a separate locked safe.)
