People suicide a lot at shooting ranges in my country. Which is sad because every time that happens, the gun gets confiscated.

Yes. Firearms ownership seems to have no effect on suicide rates. The only effect it has is on the method used.
Japan has lots of suicide and very little firearms ownership. Canadas suicide rates are slightly higher than America's, but much lower rate of gun ownership. They have more hangings and pill popping.
Frankly, among people who are determined to suicide successfully, I would want them to have the option of their choosing. Its not a happy thought, but it seems more humane to me.
It seems like a rather shitty method of suicide to me, given the chances of messing it up and giving yourself a severe but survivable injury.
I've had issues with depression myself but having and shooting guns actually makes me feel better - it gives me more of a sense of having some power and agency of my own, and that I have a way to take care of myself no matter what happens. My guns are supportive.

I've thought about killing myself every day since I was 12, now I'm 25 and it's getting hard to not put a gun to my head every day.
A while back I actually played russian roulette, I made it two clicks and then I had a massive mental breakdown.
And of course I can't go talk to some money grubbing fucktard that calls themself a therapist because confidentiality goes out the window along with your rights the moment you say suicidal thoughts, and losing my guns would just make me even more depressed.

A problem is that you need to find a drug which works for you, which can take time, and if you have a shitty doctor, they might not care and only sign off whatever shit is giving them the most kickbacks.

Who knows what's on the other side, could be anything, might be nothing. I've wanted to kill myself for a while, only reason I don't is because I don't wanna upset my family. I've seen how death affects people, and I'm not sure how my parents would handle losing another son.
Another thing that keeps me going is the fact that if whatever comes next is horrible, I wanna enjoy this life as much as I can muster. If what comes next is awesome, then it will make it that much sweeter knowing I held on to something shitty for so long.
