I'm leaning towards 6.5 or 6.8. I'm not a very good shot but am wanting to get into longer ranges. I normally just ring steel at 100-200yds. It would be cool to get good at 400-600. Grendel actually does better out of short barrels than 6.8. And at range. Those short, light bullets have the BC of a brick.

Aesthetics is all up to you. The only downside to carbine gas on 16" is it looks uggo, has slightly more felt recoil and wears parts a tad faster. The good part is that it will cycle pretty much anything

Walther only makes PPK's and PPK/S's two times a year and they retail for $550-650 new. PP's have been discontinued for years and years now and they're going up in price, especially 30's and 40's guns. Depends hugely on the proof marks and shit like that and .32 ACP a shit, but long story short yes.
