I just watched it yesterday and I get an urge to watch it every time I see a picture of a USP. My only complaint is that Vincent uses a clip holster with no belt for his full size .45.
>>
>>30576582
I want to trade my 1911 for a USP

I think that was the point. Sometimes it just comes down to dumb, plain luck. Someone as well trained and skilled as Vincent could be taken down by some cabbie.
>>
>>30577502
WTF is this Dwayne ?
LooL

Anyway I think this was just one of those "Hollywood moral endings" and in reality, Vincent would have finished the job and walked away with it.
>>
>>30577571
>in reality, Vincent would have finished the job and walked away with it.
Agreed. Mann had to appease the studios though and they would not allow Jamie and Jada to just get murdered and Cruise walk off into the night. As much as i'd preferred that myself.

Also yes that's the rock from the early 90's
>>
>>30577308
The excuse is that Tom Cruise had lost lots of blood and was used to killing everyone with the Mozambique drill. It's meant to be ironic because Vincent was the one telling Jamie Foxx, that Jamie needed to improvise and break the habit.
>>
>>30577599
Dude I would buy you a beer for posting this pic alone, he reminds me of cousin there. He become a cop BTW... go figure.

>>30577647

>killing everyone with the Mozambique drill
>Mozambique drill
WTF is the Mozambique drill?
>>
>>30576822
I think so especially that scene where she's lying (supposedly) broken after being raped and beaten or the tenth time and as her rapist is pissing in the corner after finishing and she sneaks up behind him and tears his neck open with a sharpened bone she found. It was pretty satisfying watching her systematically kill the whole camp of Taliban who captured her and then eventually beat the commander with the stock of an AK just as the SEAL team arrives to find her alive, covered in gore and in no need of rescuing.

Michael Mann's favorite shooting drill.
>>
>>30577965
Thanks dude, I just googled him and he actually made some pretty cool flicks, but you are right he uses the Mozambique drill pretty often.

Endings are way too moral and unrealistic, to call them anything else, so don't be a cunt and take it.
>>
>>30577308

That bothers me too. I say Max didn't get hit because he was moving around firing while Vincent stood still and wasn't able to follow Max's movements with the muzzle flashes, lighting changes, and blood loss. But still, they should have at least had Max get hit once.

When I re-watched it I've noticed Max is doing some kind of jumpy-crazy-nigga shooting between the two windows of the train doors and Vincent stood still and shot in the center where the metal frame of the two train doors met, altho his wrist is slightly twisted towards the door window also... as you can see on thme image

He closed his eyes. Re-watch this movie with director's commentaries. It's awesome.
>>
>>30581509
>He closed his eyes.
WTF you're right, now what advantage would this give him shooting with closed eyes?
>>
>>30579491
His wrist is twisted because he's dropping a mag, all of the shots were dead center through the door.

Problem was, Max wasn't
>>
>>30581529
He wont have ptsd from shooting a scary baby killing machine pistol with unlimited clipazine
>>
>>30577308
Mostly because ex-military assassin types don't gain some kind of invulnerability.
They can still fuck up and random people can still get lucky.
>>
>>30576822
Ha, i remember seeing that. Man...growing up with a younger sister exposes you to some shit.

Leon: The Professional, or just 'The Professional', depending on your taste in a sexual relationship between Jean Reno and a young Natalie Portman.

Considering french tabloids articles on Mr. Reno over the last 20 years one could easily think that he would have wanted that.

Is Mozambique drill movie better than center axis rel-ock movie?

I don't know.
>>
>>30579491

After watching it again I noticed that Vincent only fired four shots before his gun was empty, while Max had, 11 or 12? And I went back and watched the club shootout and Vincent fires 18 times before reloading. Why wouldn't they do something as simple as realistic mag sizes with everything else that went into that movie?

And watching the club scene reminded me of another thing I didn't like about that movie. That club takes way too damn long to evacuate. Two minutes after the shooting started people are still running around the dance floor. And why does that witness just sit there while shooting is going on everywhere around him? And I wonder how Vincent managed to get out of the club and in front of the door that Max comes out of despite Max and the cop having a head start.

The bald guy gun got tangled on his thong, did he ever managed to draw?
