A lot of the cheap sites have horrible reviews on reseller ratings.com...
You just missed a great deal with the 4th of July sale at PSA for $0.30/rnd for PMC brass.
Sucks that people caught on to Wolf Gold being such a good deal... so that it now isn't.

The only negative things about steel case ammo is that the powder is a little dirtier and it will put more wear on your extractor. You can buy piles of extractors for the money you save shooting steel case though.

Over thousands of rounds it'll wear your gun faster. If you're cool with rebarreling it it's the same cost as firing brass (not taking selling of the casings into account).
See LuckyGunner.com's test where they did 10k rounds of various steelcase through identical ARs along with 10k rounds of brass through another and compared.

Or you could simply reload if you are going to be shooting piles and piles of ammo. Brass case, cleaner and much better accuracy for the same price per round as steelcase

This is correct. The life of your barrel depends heavily upon how fast you shoot. If you're a fast shooter your barrel will wear out sooner than if you pause a second and let the gun cool down after a couple of magazines.
Your barrel can last for many 1000s of rounds if you treat it well.

Define worth it? Not exactly match grade if you are using standard projectiles but much higher quality than steel case for about the same price.
