Looking at getting some compression shorts and a combat shirt

Fuck me
Are gienna combat pants good?

>Polyester gets smelly (also melts, should it ever come to that)
>Merino has shit durability
Uf pro makes poly/merino blend stuff.
Nylon/cotton cordura baselayer sounds like a good idea. Tru-spec makes t-shirts and combat shirts out of it.
I'd really like to see linen or hemp replace cotton for a bunch of clothing, it's said to have superior moisture and odor properties and be generally stronger.

Tyvek painter's coveralls work just fine.

>what do you guys where
Dude. Drugs r bad, stay in school.
But anyway, Adidas mesh front boxer briefs, they're a UA knockoff and actually still have a fly. Flies are important, no idea why UA stopped putting them on their shorts.
For undershirts I still wear the .mil issue sand poly/cotton tees simply because I have like 40 of them.
>still have like a dozen of the old brown cotton ones from the days of BDUs too, but I dont wear them much cuz cotton
Socks are merino wool crew height hiking socks, a mix of smartwool and thorlo.

Stopped in the army. Underwear; never again.

Shit, wrong picture. Whatever.
>>30571299
>have abnormally long/loose nutsack
I dont like sitting on my balls constantly or getting them pinched in a pant leg so I pretty much need at least some form of underwear.

Sup gearfags.
I want a picatinny light for my sub2000.
>but sub2000s are supposed to be super lightweight and compact!
Right, so I want a super compact and lightweight light. Doesn't have to be five billion lumens. Something that's very low profile would be cool. Thinking an XC1, is there anything similar out there that isn't $300?

I use Duluth Trading Buck Naked underwear. It's stupid expensive but it is by far the absolute best for extreme heat and humidity. While it cost me a lot, Duluth underwear is all I use for everything. It's really comfortable and wicks away sweat. If you are willing to pay a lot, buy Buck naked

check optics planet, up to last week they were running a 20% off xc1 sale

Any love for A-Tacs in here?

I'm an old M-81 woodland fag.
>>30575515
Always did love woodland, when I was a kid I thought woodland literally was "camoflauge", I didn't even realize other patterns existed until I got a bit older.

How so? It's secure in there. I don't have much space for it elsewhere, really. I've already filled up most of the space in my rig.
>>30575705
Tuck it in behind the pouches lower on your kit. It's an easy spot to grab and take if someone gets close. I ran a kabar in my kit like that until I had a one of the tabbed squad leaders show me why we don't carry it that way. Honestly if it's in a way that your holding your rifle low ready and it at least obscures it that's ideal.

>implying implications
There's a reason they only exist in tuff boxes in arms rooms now and only come out for parades.

The synthetics get super fucking disgusting. At SERE the guys wearing the UA stuff smelled fucking righteous. I was wearing 100% cotton and not that I smelled like roses but fuck me... The smell from just standing next to those guys was unreal. Smelled unlike anything I'd encountered before or since.
>>30576282
Hmm, I'll look into that. Thanks for the advice.
