Ever been banned, or seen anyone banned from a gun range?
>>
I got kicked out of a range before.

I was shooting my draco at the pistol range.
>>
>>30563817
No. I told the gun range niglet to fuck off.

>2016

Do all you niggers live in NYC. Ranges are for clowns. Go innawoods and shoot.
>>
>>30563871
>Go innawoods and shoot.

Question.

How? Just go into a state park and find a good place or what?
>>
>>30563817
Saw a guy get banned.

>guy is rapid firing
>told to stop
>he does
>slows to about one shot per second
>told to stop
>tries to argue that he wasn't rapid firing
>told to fuck himself and that for his insubordination he was banned

I stopped going to ranges for anything but trap shooting after that.
>>
>>30563910
Some parks have designated areas. I think it is implied to find a friend, a state run unregulated range, or buy some property and move.
>>
>>30563910
go to a ranger's station. they have nothing to do and will help you with ANYTHING out of boredom. ask to purchase local maps that show the boundaries of BLM/state/wildlife reserves/private land etc, and check your local laws regarding where and when you can shoot. drive to chosen area, and spend a day scouting out locations, don't just stop at the first sort of good spot you find.

there, now you can shoot in the woods. don't kill any hikers.
>>
>>30563910

>Be 100 yards from the centerline of a road or trailhead
>Never shoot over a body of water or road.
>Don't shoot trees or animals, rangers get pissed.
>Make sure the park you visit doesn't explicitly say no target shooting.

Should keep you good.

This is specifically national FOREST land. Big difference. State Parks are NOT okay to shoot in. These rules apply to National Forests and other BLM land, with local exceptions.

If you live near any National Forest property you can shoot with some rules. Something like be away from roads 150 feet and not be shooting trees and not during hunting seasons. I do it and it is much simpler than going to a range to shoot paper.

>Never shoot over a body of water or road.

Is there a reason for the body of water not involving boaters? I ask because I used to shoot across a fish pond on private land fairly often (was the only cleared area).

Ricochets off the water?

No, My family and I used to be pretty well liked by the local rangemaster. He was the nicest rangemaster that I've ever seen, only seen him yell once, this guy was pointing his gun down the row (along the benches at people) and the RM yelled at him to keep it down range, the guy did for about a minute and then for whatever reason began pointing it back along the benches with his finger on the trigger (I'm pretty sure it was even loaded this time) and the RM flipped his shit, understandable of course. I've never seen him mad or even raise his voice but he unleashed years of having to put up with bullshit on this dude, and the guy started yelling back (with loaded gun in hand) and the range master literally grabbed this guy by the neck of the shirt (RM was an older gentleman and the dude was maybe 25) and drug him back to the table and told him to pack his shit and never come back or he's calling the cops. The guy was dressed kind of like Dylan Klebold, minus the natural selection shirt and trench coat.

I was legit afraid that the guy was going to shoot down the rows (luckily my family was to his left and he was aiming to his right) and it scared the shit out of me when he was getting pissed with his finger on the trigger of a loaded gun pointed at other range goers. I'm sure others were getting ready to get out of his way or shoot back if he did anything but my eyes were stuck on them.
After the dude left the RM apologised to everyone for yelling like that and explained that he was on duty when someone got shot years prior and he didn't want it happening again.

The rangemaster passed away a couple years ago, don't really go to that range anymore because his replacement is kind of an ass and doesn't manage the range as well.

Same. The guy at the counter told me to go to a booth in the pistol range even though I told him I was shooting rifles. He yelled at me until I yelled at him and told him it was his fault for assigning me there.

Talking with an ex army friend from my last unit. He is in California for the time being. He just built an AK before the new laws got signed by Governor Moonbeam. So he wants to go to his range and shoot his AK. Calls the range and the Range says they are banning all rifles until they can figure out the new laws.

I tell him to just go out and shoot on all that BLM land his state has, and to get the hell out of California.

Why do most range officers have a giant chip on their shoulder?

I'm sure they've gotten worse since the jews in the media started harping nonstop on shootings and pushing for gun bans

Part of the reason why I haven't been to a range in my area this summer is the ro's are cocks

They act like you're holding hand grenades with the pins pulled

that place has to be a pain in the ass to live in after they took away the passport free travel.

though I see that there is no border control stations on the only road into canada.

If I lived there, I would have a PAL and smuggle so many weapons we can't get in the USA.

I've kicked 6 people off my range. All black, shitty etiquette. Shitty safety. Bye bye black sheep, thanks for the moneyz.

Also watched a guy lacerate his thumb ghosting his girlfriend from behind. Lol.

Guy blew his thumb off with a 1911, said it was all his fault, after viewing the camera footage he went to grab his gun from his grandson because grandson was being dumb and the hammer was back.
Watched a guy blow the back of his head out with a .357. Got two weeks paid off with extra on top, acted it up quite a bit but meh, was my 14th witnessed dead dude.

Mostly it's niggers and immigrants that fuck up, along with all the white old timers that are stuck in their ways, and some how didn't learn simple gun safety and range etiquette.

If you live in the USA shoot on Forest Service land. Most areas of the land that aren't filled with camp grounds and have dispersed camping you can generally shoot as long as you are a couple hundred yards from a road way. Then you must use common judgement to shoot at some type of embankment. Open carry as well!

1 shot per second is the minimum speed for NRA rapid fire competition.

So when someone says "No Rapidfire" at a range, they generally mean to slow down to like 1 shot every 2 seconds or slower. NRA Slow Fire competition requires you take at least 5 seconds between shots, so some places say that Rapid Fire is anything faster than that, even.

>>
>>30568350
Sweden yes.
>>
>>30568399
Back in the dark ages, when the NRA received government funding to promote shooting sports, instead of private and industry funding to exist as a lobby, they set up a ton of ranges and held regular competitions. Most ranges that have been there a long time were at one point ran by the NRA, and so these competition rules are baked into the rules and bylaws of these clubs.

Yeah, it's "legacy code" that is really being applied outside it's purpose, but have you ever tried to institute a by-laws change at a gun club? We aren't stereotyped as conservatives/reactionaries for no reason. The inertia is enormous.
>>
Yeah. Once. The rang;es nigger rigged pully system got knocked down by the wind, the RO started chewing me and my friend out for purposefully shooting it down. No one even shot it.
