You could find literally anything about Lecrec (except the armor composition, and even then it's being discussed fairly extensively) if you know french

The same goes to russian or chinese military equipment too. If you can read cyrillic or chinese, there are tons of literature out there
>>
>>30561246
This, if it is not used by English speaking countries then good luck finding shit.
>>
>>30561117
You're probably a newfag since frenchfag posts a lot of info about this tank quite often
>>
>>30561278
True.
Add to that, that it is a french hardware (neither german qualität, nor US army stong; meh...).
>>
>>30561117
Has it ever been deployed?
>>
>>30561444
France has deployed some in their african anti terrorism operations. but really only one or two each time.
>>
>>30561456
So right, much intel, wow.

Leclerc MBTs were deployed in peace keeping operation such as Kosovo or South Lebanon (you can add Yemen if you count the UAE customer, but that's another story...). Outside of these two, the tanks were deployed in training on foreign grounds rangeing from platoon level to brigade level.
>>
>>30561456
A few were deployed in Liban too if my memory serves me well
>>

>Has it ever been deployed?

The UAE used them in Yemen, did pretty well it seems, better thant the Saudi Abrams and made a strong impression, even lead to rumors of Saudi Arabia wanting to buy some Leclerc...
>>
I wish it were deployed and proved itslef once and for all. I fear that the Leclerc will go the way of the FAMAS.

It'd be a shame though, because at least the Frenchies *could* (please don't!) Say that MBTs don't get deployed and are therefore useless... Unlike their small arms industry.
>>
Because its never seen combat and wasn't widely exported

The most obscure MBT in the world is still the Ariete though.

oh theyre delicious

"Selon des sources françaises, le Leclerc donne entière satisfaction à l'armée des EAU. trois d'entre eux auraient été touchés par l'ennemi, les milices houthies : 2 par des mines ou des IED, ce qui a endommagé le train de roulement, sans détruire le char, et un autre par un tir de RPG que le système de grille protectrice semble avoir stoppé. Les Leclerc ont à plusieurs reprises ouvert le feu avec leur canon de 120 mm - ce qui a été leur baptême du feu."

wikipedia :

As of August 2015, Leclerc tanks of the United Arab Emirates were deployed in combat operations in Yemen (near Aden) as part of the Saudi led coalitions.[1][12][13][14][15][16][17] It is estimated 70 Leclerc MBTs were deployed by the UAE in Yemen, 15 of them equipped with the AZUR package. 3 tanks were damaged, 2 by antitank mines and 1 by a RPG which damaged the grid without piercing the hull. None of these tanks were lost.[18]

One skylined itself and ate an ATGM to the drivers hatch, leading to a dead driver and a TC with fucked up legs.

A tank that was repairable after an Kornet hit to the rear of the turret, if the crew (who are seen exiting the tank) had not bailed, is supposed to show what?

You seem fairly desperate to squelch talk of a known incident.

Nexter employee?
