Oh nevermind then, she's ugly
>>

I read somewhere the helmet cover blends in with brush pretty well what with its irregular patterns. Can't speak for the black facepaint, but the finger behind the trigger can have its advantages I suppose. With your finger above the trigger, if you trip while walking/running, your finger can slip down and fire a round. If it's behind, no matter how hard you grip, your weapon won't go off.

They may look jacked up, but the IDF has a pretty decent track record

Really?
The helmet cover is standard issue in the IDF and I'd be inclined to say that since they have been using it for decades, it probably is useful.
The finger is a technicality, you can see US (male) soldiers doing the same. It is perfectly okay.
The paint is there to cool her face in the desert weather as the black paint absorbs the heat from surrounding air and the skin remains cool. Have you never been to a desert?

>Chef Boyardee helmet cover
Still better and more universal than nearly any of your silly camo patters. Still better than the Bong's low-density bush head.
>black face outline
That's a special paste that absorbs heat. Not every stroll requires a full face paint.
>finger behind trigger
With trigger guard that large (compared to her small hand), it's actually safer than keeping it straight.
It's still not an excuse, and I'm sure that she got a shake-up if a commander saw her like that.
>is this proper soldiering?
No. She's looks like a rookie. So "proper soldiering" is something she's still in the process of learning.

>>30559914
Also this is the M203 version- which comes with a longer barrel (and looks bigger because of the GL itself).

>>30560255
Nah, it's stylized like the (old) Israeli boots. Actual ones are in pic related.
No one (that I know of) seems to know who makes the new shoes.

Camo isn't designed to blend in, it's designed to break the outline of a person. Military snipers/soldiers are trained Ed to look for the outline of a person, so having the helmet be irregular throws off most people, since they're looking for a human shape, same with the black face paint, if it doesnt look like a human face, they won't hover over it for long before moving vision to find a human target.
>>
>>30562273
"Blending in" is part of breaking up the outline of an object you pedantic nigger.

1.) The Chef's hat has been in the IDF for decades, it breaks up the silhouette of the head in urban combat and is used for anti-sniper purposes. It's obviously not 100% effective but does help and is extremely low-cost, so why not.

2.) These are women soldiers who are essentially all conscripts that are not put into frontline combat. They're used for auxiliary and border patrol duties. They're all rookies.

Bigger, slower targets mate. But blubber is surely a good defence against 5.56.
>>
>>30559779
What is the point of a bullpup when you add a GL that makes the bullpup as long as a traditional rifle with the same barrel length?
>>
>>30559801
Doyel, is that you? Number 1 in number 2.

>>
>>30563317
>>30563317

The 203 overhang still makes an overall length much shorter then a non-bullpup of the same barrel length.

By the uniform (something looks off), by the unprofessional shiptzur on her gl sight and by her vest.
But more than anything, I can tell that she's still a rookie by looking at her belt.
Pic related is not a rookie.

Armyfag here.

I've done combat exercises with the IDF way back god-knows when in like 2001/2002 or something.

Those chef helmet covers are stupid. The amount of times I spotted one of them because of that thing was ridiculous.

Finger behind trigger is the safest but it seems like you'd be in a bit of a jam if you need to shoot immediately.

By her standard kneepads mostly.
Non rookies usually have a privately bought or inherited kneepads

I always found finger behind trigger looks better to normies and is more comfy depending on the gun.I never got told about above trigger until 4chins but I did know you had to keep it off the trigger.
