I don't have much experience with any beyond shotguns.
I kind of want one of these just because I like their aesthetic, but I don't know much about them.

It's strictly worse in everything you listed. It's a gun that predates the AR and is worse in every regard, especially in it's civilian long-barrel-semi-auto form. Nobody is conceal carrying either of these things.

I have one. It's fun but not nearly practical. Fun to shoot and puts a smile on my face but is way way heavier than it should be

My uncle has one of these and it's reliable as fuck. One day we put 50 full 30rd mags through it without a single hiccup. Then we ran out of ammo.
My grandad has a full-giggle version like in OP's pic and we did the same and it worked flawlessly, just burned through all the ammo 10x faster.

Its heavy, feels super tough, has super shitty sights. My friend has one that he built as a pistol and its really hard to actually aim and shoot. Feels like you could beat someone to death with it though.
As a rifle they look really goofy with the 16" barrel. An SBR would be neat though.

Uzi is the AK-47 of the SMG world. In an age of FAL's it was a compact full auto weapon. Since the advent of carbines and bullpup though, its usefulness has run out like many SMGs in general

Its still blow back with a 1.5lb bolt slamming back and forth. If it's semi auto then it likely has a 16" barrel,which just shit on the concealment/size aspect and that weight you mentioned has factors that affect if it's good or bad, like where it sits in the gun.
Did you know that blow back ARs typically recoil harder that their 5.56 gas op variants? This Is shit you could actually be looking up
