The reality of CO's beating on inmates is sometimes exaggerated. We do get dudes pretty beat up from cops. When we ask what happened the suspects usually say they tripped on the curb(kek). However these cop killers if they aren't already dead will come in with pretty beat. If the cops are smart they won't break any bones or they I'll have to take them to the hospital to get med cleared.

L.E. will be on high alert. Im at work right now and the break room had CNN on. Everyone on duty is pretty upset. You cant spray at cops, kill 5 officers and think L.E. will take this lightly. I'm assuming the commander will send out an email telling all the officers to remain "vigilant". When San Bernardino happened we were told the same thing.
I would recommend staying home this weekend. Cops will be looking to detain anyone suspicious. Don't think everything is normal especially after cops were being targeted tonight.

Now that we've gotten the housekeeping out of the way, lets address the thread topic- you need more mags. Like other anons have already said, get 3 more mags. Plus, you want at least 3 more at home. You also want to get a compact BuG, with a minimum of 3 mags. Same chambering as your EDC piece, for obvious reasons.
Ammo- minimum stockpile should be 50 rounds per every magazine. If you want to practice, buy more.

My agency had a meeting at shift change, the Sheriff and all the Majors came in and briefed us, since we're pretty close to Dallas. We were advised to wear low profile vests even if we're out in street clothes off duty.
Lot of us were crying over it, one of our LTs knew one of the guys killed apparently. It's shaken our agency to the core, gonna be hard to recover.
Sheriff also announced to only respond to emergency calls and always ride with a partner until further notice.
This is so fucked man, I've been doing this a while and I've never seen it happen like this.
What makes it worse is that there's yet to be any widespread condemnation from society, the President fed us some bullshit while making it look like it was our fault, and there's been a lot of fucks saying this is somehow a good thing.
