Where is it? If its an actual camp, one thing I learned in over a decade of outdoors activities with all colors of people: nig nogs do not go in the woods at night, or even in the day really. If you're far enough out you'll be fone, if you're at some city slicker "camp ground" you may run into some issues.
If you do need to book it back home, travel at night and stay on back roads whenever possible.
If you have a suitcase or something with a discreet pocket somewhere you can slide something in there before you go (you know) if it makes you feel safer, just make sure its hidden, I've seen people with duffel bags that obviously had a gun in them.
And honestly if you're this worried about it, why go? Is pussy involved?

Camp is southeast Texas, inna woods tons of pine trees, rarely see nig nogs at any camps ive been to.
Only problem with taking my weapon is my Dad would notice if my FNS9c dissapeared from my bedside.
