You can buy whatever you want in a private sale. Quit getting people to spoonfeed your lazy ass.

Palmetto State Armory. Buy a completed lower and completed upper then put it together. Great starting point for beginners because of the cheap prices.

You'll have to buy a magazine separately. When buying a gun online, you will have to have it shipped to a licensed FFL dealer. Any gun shop will do (they'll have a list of dealers in their system but newer shops may not show up so keep that in mind when placing your order). You will also have to pay a transfer fee (to cover costs for being sent to their store) and you will fill out Form 4473 when you go to pick up the gun.

You'll only need to fill out the information pertaining to you, the shop's info will likely already be on there when they hand you the form to sign.

The upper receiver can be shipped directly to your home. As long as you don't live in one of the shitty antigun states, there shouldn't be a problem.

You'll be fine then.

I'd also recommend going into /arg/ if you haven't already and soak up what's posted in there if you're unfamiliar with ARs in general.

Depends on what you want, my first gun i bought was a Remington 870 12 gauge. You can get a nugget if you want. If you raise that price to 950 you can grab the based colt le6920.
