Not him, but the point of an 80% is that it's not a firearm, not recorded on a ffl's books, not reviewed and recorded by the ATF in their biannual visits, and therefore ideally not something they will demand you turn in when SHTF.

nothing about a poorly milled 80% lower can cause an ar to kaboom as long as you can get it to fire a shot.
At the worst you might get a stuck BCG due to too high of a drilled hammer pinhole causing the hammer to ride high.
Or runaway full auto/double fires or triples due to an inproperly installed/out of spec FCG.

Handguns have to go through ffls if bought out of state. As long as it's not banned in your home state and you go to an ffl in person you can buy whatever rifle or shotgun you want out of state and walk out with it the same day. That or private sale which no one can say shit to unless you're a dipshit and get caught with b& shit.

Go on slickguns and search for one. Don't spend more than 50. Really, you can get one for 30-40 if you look long enough.
